Track Name: Dark Circuits
Track Length: 2:45
Description: This bleak dirge arises out of two motivations. On the dramatic side: this is the outlet of a dark brooding about the idea of evil entities which are called forth by mathematics and digital technology - an unsettling idea which can be blamed wholly on sci-fi author Charles Stross and his "Laundry Files" series. The second motivation was to create something in the spirit of Factory Records circa 1980 (Joy Division etc.) so you could say I was simultaneously trying to trans-channel the spirit of Martin Hannett while exercising the demons of Charles Stross. Composed by C.P.Bryan. {fear, tension, alienation, suspense, industrial, ambient, soundscape, horror, dark}
Description: Minimal synthetic patterns suggesting the emptiness of vast open space. Slow tempo and repeating melody plus some droning electronic sparkle. Played at low level in the background of a production should make for a good ambient backdrop. Composed by Steve Lowther. {ambient, sci-fi, mellow, ambient, atmospheres, electronica, Synthesizer}
Description: This is a dreamy, ethereal and thoughtful electronic instrumental composition. Could work well as background music to cinematography focussed on natural landscapes, space exploration, artistic video animations or travelogues... Composed by Enrico Altavilla. {atmospheres, Minimal-Drone, ambient, electronica, mellow, smooth, Synthesizer, sci-fi}
Description: This track has a strong dub reggae bass and drum backbone with a spooky melody played on an electronic simulation of a steel guitar. Sci-fi cowboy western music for the 21st century. Composed by C.P.Bryan. {cowboy, country, electronica, reggae, ambient, intrigue}
Description: The slow, plodding, lumbering, stumbling march of zombies throughout the outer reaches of the galaxy. What is it about zombies that has captured the popular imagination? "Must...eat...brains!" Composed by Steve Lowther. {lounge, mellow, weirdo, melancholy, alternative, dark, themes, sci-fi}
